African slavery and Indian genocide provided "free" Black labor and Indian land for the European emigrants in Indian Country and "found" it filled with treasures they are still pursuing on Indian reservations and Black ghettos supplying cheap corporate labor [minimum wage] & Indian resources [water] today. The political talk is justice for the oppressed minorities, but no talk of reparations except by Mr. Coates, who recommends economic justice for centuries of slavery and Jim Crow systems of exclusion recently unearthed in Missouri, where entire towns of whites are capturing the "Negroes" in police nets to take away voting rights by criminal charges and fines for traffic stops which end up felonies and prison for the innocent Black citizens. The "Negro and hoe" economy of southern states compares to minimum wages of the industrial north, either way it is economic-apartheid constructed by a well-oiled and financed political machine that controls the laws out of Congress for the "Corporate States of America" who now have a rich candidate for President of the United States. Western Congressmen protect white-supremacist organizations like the National Cattlemens Association and the Farmers Union who have a century old history of exploiting Indian land in complicity with federal officials. The Indians have not had justice for centuries in land claims like my great-grandmothers lands robbed by corporations in 1919, when the Montana Legislature created Glacier County on the Blackfeet Reservation whose land base was stolen Blackfeet land allotments robbed from illiterate Indians. My great-grandma was Mrs. Mattie Medicine Wolf-Bird, who sent her sons to the Carlisle Industrial School, where they learned to operate ranch and farm enterprises and they built a sheep operation of 14,000 sheep and a cattle ranch, where my grandma lived in a house, planted vegetable gardens and dug a root cellar, sold her milk, cream, butter, and eggs to add to the family budget. These were self-reliant people who were successful in the American Dream, but like millions of Americans are learning today, the "American nightmare" showed up on the Blackfeet Reservation in 1900. Blackfeet nightmares are the Great Northern Railway and the Swift & Armour Meat Trust, and even Chicago Crime boss Al Capone came to the reservation, set up a phony bank, and robbed the Indians money and foreclosed on the Indians cattle as collateral, all done in complicity with the Indian agent and the Secretary of Agriculture who was a former governor of Montana! Economic-apartheid is the issue of the century since the Congress gave James J. Hill, owner of the Great Northern Railway a land grant of 400 million acres of America, "FREE LAND!" The Hill's, father & son robber barons have bedeviled the Blackfeet Indians for centuries murdering hundreds of Blackfeet landowners to force signatures on land patents for whites while the agent froze the tribal dissidents in the agency jail in forty degree below zero weather, and reported pneumonia deaths and starved little children by withholding rations paid for by tribal land cessions and reported the deaths as exposure or consumption to cover up genocides. I see all Americans under control of corporate America by Republicans controlling Congress but oops, an honest man was elected and he is "bedeviling" the "Corporate States of America" Trump, Koch etc. The visible head of monumental greed is ready to cut off, but King George has emerged, promising things will be great! King George, was miffed at the sight of serfs beating the Royal Hounds to table scraps like railroad baron James J. Hill and his son Louis' toy, a troupe of starving, dancing Indians, Blackfeet Chiefs, in Hill's hotels on the reservation, built on land stolen from the Blackfeet Tribe, paid with table scraps from leftover dinners of tourists, and Louis Hill paid his "Glacier Park" Indians by "passing the hat" for dimes.
Separation of the branches of government must include insulation of corporate greed from Congress.
