The beginning of the border-whites slow death campaign began in 1913 to force the Indians to agree to cede 156,000 acres of the reservation containing the irrigated farm lands, the newly discovered oil fields in the eastern reservation lands, and the "big grass country" grazing lands of the mountainous area near Glacier Park. The superintendent complained that, "The Park has many authors, artists, historians and tourists of every walk of life visit here and they become interested in the Blackfeet, many times spend time on the reservation, and consequently much publicity results. The town of Browning near to the gateway has a neglected and forbidding appearance, and it is unfortunate that visitors passing through to Glacier Park might believe it to be a part of the Indian agency."

Robert J. Hamilton, the Indian lawyer, stated to Congress, "The starving circumstances are growing worse, and the only hope of reverse lies in the powers vested in your Joint Commission To Investigate Indian Affairs." Once again in 1921 over two hundred Indians were starved to sign "forced patents" on their lands so the border-whites in Glacier County could take the productive lands of the reservation, and in truth, the Indians starve today. The water compact signed in 2015 by the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council forever kills off all Indian claims for a cash payment to tribal politicians, please vote no on the compact, it gives our stolen land to white men living on the reservation in Glacier and Pondera Counties, and will keep us poor forever! I am the last treaty Indian, who is fighting for our murdered ancestors and so should you fight for your relatives stolen land allotments given to the white man by the tribal council in the compact.
